Pretty Rose

by Shane   Apr 1, 2006

Pretty rose
Rebel of time
Is it true that you'll never be mine?
Since I remember long ago
Craving your presence was common
Instantly I'm addicted
Love is often vindictive
Longing for your smile
As I wait for your reply

Pretty Rose
Really can't you see?
Is it that obscured from reality?
So much that light cannot show
Crude, uncut, unrefined
Is longing all I know?
Lastly I wonder
Love is like thunder
As you see the light, so does it follow

Pretty Rose
Rarity is your game
Is it all the same,
Save for the beauty of day?
Come to me, darling
Interest is fleeting
Love is retreating
Lest you return
At last to say

Prince of mine
Regain me my time
Is it too late for me to be thine?
Sorrow knows no bounds
Cleary my heart pounds
Instantly at your step
Learning from regret
Lending lost love
As if I'd forget

Love me, darling
Only you have that right
Vividly
Each and every night
