Situational Ethics

Scenario 1

I'm pregnant!
It can't be!
Oh no what will I do?
My situations awful
I can't have it!
Won't have it!
Only an embryo
Not a baby yet
Just a clump of cells;
Wish I'd never met
This situation
Must have a termination!

Scenario 2

She's pregnant!
Why couldn't it be me?
A baby would complete us
Make us a family.
She's going to kill it
Scrape it from her womb.
The little child that needs her
Won't even have a tomb;
Thrown away. Blown away.
Killed!
By one who should protect.
A tiny life wrecked!

Scenario 3

My mother, didn't want another
When she was having me
And yet
A choice did not exist,
Wasn't on the list
Of things to do.
She had me, and loved me
And now I'm here to choose,
If my child should live or die
If it shall win - or lose.
I think I see
What I'd desire
If this child were ..............Me
