The dreams

by Shawna   Apr 1, 2006

The dream
was a horror
with red steam
as blood.

My dream was that you died
and left me to fall
and I cried hard that night
and I didn't stop.

For without you,
I am nothing
but an untouched stew
that will not be eaten.

In my dream,
you gave up your life
just to see me stream
with life, but all I did was cry.

Now in this dream,
I was with you.
Everything was great, at least it seems.
You and me were together, forever.

I was in your arms.
and you
protected me from harm
I was in love

There was no shame in it.
everything
fit.
Even you.
