Survival

I watch the rain fall
suddenly time stands still
everything will be alright
if I just take one more pill

Everyone thinks I'm lucky
Just because Ive fallen in love
that powerful feeling which I lost
Wishing someone would give me my last shove

"You'll get over him,
You'll find someone better"
My friends all chanted
While I explained myself in a letter

I cant be happy
I just want to die
This all happened
Because of one guy

He said he loved me
I shouldve just said NO
My heart believed what he said
And this I will never let go

There is just too much hurt
So much pain and tears
its better that hes at least happy
While Im here with all my nightmares and fears

Friends always said that Id find someone different
But Ive waited a year and no one has come
I just want to let go of that feeling he made
I wish I could just let my heart go numb

Over time and help from everyone
I found reason to live and to dream
My heart let go of loves curse
I got to go I have bliss to redeem

~~ if it looks familiar, good, cuz i put two of my poems together to create one. i added more details. and i do believe this one is way beter.
