Mommy Don't Cry
By Tori Kelley

Mommy don't cry, I'm asking you please.
Mommy I'm begging you, I'm down on my knees.
I know inside you hurt so bad,
but seeing you cry makes me so sad.
I can't stand looking at you when there's tears in you eyes.
I try to help you with your problems no matter the size,
but I don't know what to do anymore, cause I'm crying now, crying for you..
Please Lord tell me what to do.
I need a shoulder to lean on,
or a friends to rely on.
I can't take the hurt, and the pain.
My hearts just being ripped again and again.
Mommy don't cry cause I need you too.
Please mommy tell me what to do.

Great peice, not sure why but went a parent crys it always makes the child feel really bad, worse than if they were crying themselves infact.

this peice is very clearly written and very expressive

    5/5
