Nature's Glory

by Monique Seidler   Apr 2, 2006

The translucent drops
of effervescent dew,
splashed from the trees,
declaring the day anew.

The smell of tranquility
settled in the crisp air.
The whole world silenced.
A peacefulness lay there.

A timy head peeked out
from deep within the earth.
Ad gracefully a spring rabbit
bounded into the world newly birthed.

All around complete perfection
covered the forest floor.
Nature's wondrous glory,
o but I longed for more.
