I showed you my scars
and i told you my secrets
my life is a blur
and i know no one sees it

I write these word
and spill my heart
its like paper
and its all torn apart

In love and loss
we all strive to hide
to hide who we are
and what we've done

And all my past is written on my arms
the scares remind me that the past is real
all the pills to take
all the bruises to make

and now its all out in the open
and i hope that you can see
that there is still a light that shines in side me
