Transit

by Ghost Town   Apr 3, 2006

Fill our bodies with lies
Until we believe you
Destroy our good lives
Until we obey you
Confuse our dumb minds
Until we follow you
But you'll soon find
We aren't going to

The speaker, the train
It's driving me insane
The lies you give
We must go through and live
Look what we are now
Puppets under your sick mind
We can only follow
And throw our lives behind

I want this routine to stop
But the train just won't...
I want the lies to stop
But the train just won't
I want this train to stop
But the train just won't
I just have to get off
But this train just won't...stop

There's no one way ticket to freedom
There's no one way ticket to freedom
There's no way...

Bloody brilliant, it's a simple topic sure enough, alot of poets and artists alike feel this way about the world, being controlled and supressed, and thinking of humanity as puppets of the government, but few can express it and put it into words as well as u. good work man.
