No Need For Tears

Bruised heart but, open mind
Can't let go just yet
Torn soul but, spirit's full
I'm eagerly looking ahead

Broken dreams but, newfound hopes
Arise to replace my fears
Shattered life but, willful strife
Carry me on through the years

When you look in my eyes, you'll see strength
For all else is concealed
I do not like to show weakness
So nothing will be revealed

Just remember not to worry
About dangers in my view
For I, for one, am aware that
I'm sure to pull through

Though I'm all out of place
A smile lights my face
Reminding me each day
There is no need for tears
