I love SUMMER

by natalie   Apr 3, 2006

Sunny days of summer
bring them back so i can
smell the pollen and wake up
with the sun shining through
my window tomorrow.
The taste of summer is in the air
no wind whipping through my hair.
My day begins, you come around
and we walk in fields of gold
telling each other stories
we thought would be left un-told.
Holding hands until darkness lands.
listening to birds singing their songs,
listening to bees humming their tune
lambs playing as we walk this way.
You know its June when things
like these bloom.
We're sitting high, a perfect view
of bluebells alive.
Dangling our feet as we
sit in the oak tree.
We take a slow walk home
with nature surrounding us,
bees humming, bluebells alive,
birds singing and daffodils swinging.
We say our sweet goodbye
as you walk on bye.
