Toffee Popcorn

by Phoebe   Apr 3, 2006

Staring out the window as the sun is going down,
Eating toffee popcorn, and not wearing a frown,
I laugh as I think of the day that has just gone by,
And as I'm crunching on the popcorn a purple pig flies by.

I try to take a picture but my camera cant be found,
I move around, searching, trying not to make a sound,
Suddenly I turn to see a rabbit eating a sheep,
My imaginations going wild since I've been losing sleep.

I try to climb out of my bed and end up on the wall,
I'm screaming and grabbing nothing, not wanting to fall,
I fall into the bath, and its filled with whipped cream,
I've never seen so much, it feels like a wonderful dream.

When I walk outside it's raining, but somehow I stay dry,
I'm looking around for the pig, the one I saw flying by,
Instead I see a walrus, on the roof of the hotel,
This world cannot be right, it's not reality, it's hell!

Bring me back to my window, as the sun is going down,
Leave me to devour my popcorn, don't make me want to frown,
Let me laugh as I think about that purple pig flying by,
Let me fall asleep tonight, so tomorrow I wont see it fly.
