The everlasting Locksmith

by sweetsoulsista5   Apr 4, 2006

I have fallen but you have picked me up,
I am a child but the truth is not to much.
I can't be shielded or protected my whole life through,
And as I sit here I only think of you.
Your careless smile slapped across your face,
Your hand in mine even when we're not in the same place.
Your thoughts in my head
My lips to your ears
I want you to hold me in your mind,
Lock me away and bring me out from time to time.
Just don't shut me out, Don't leave me out in the cold.
Don't cry for my sorrow cry for your own.
Your space in my mind is taking up too much room,
But I will keep it until the end till my doom.
It's getting colder with you all the time as you shut the door,
Mine is wide open and waiting for you to come through.
I'm getting cold are you getting too old,
Did my thoughts just turned to rust or melted to gold.
Did you feel that breeze?
That chill, don't turn that key and lock me out. Just don't shut me out.
