Twelve

by MizCrowley   Apr 4, 2006

Up again, the clocks struck twelve
And you still have not returned
Where have you gone
Where will I go
Youre not here, and I am all alone

Forever I will stay for you
And yearn to be at side
Wait for your return
Until again our paths collide

Perhaps then you will know
How much I truly care
Even still, at this late hour
I havnt slept, and never will

You have played me for a fool
And a fool will I remain
Forever waiting, standing still
In hopes that I will gain

Your trust again
Your hope again
And the love that we once had
Perhaps if I never let go
I will never lose what might have been

So forever will I wait for you
As the clock strikes twelve
And forever wonder where youve gone
And ask if the end has come
