The Snail Effect

by J.C.   Apr 4, 2006

Its morning and I feel tired and weak
Last night, I stayed up crying and didnt get much sleep
My mind kept battling between what is true
And what is bleak
Wondering why love has given me the blues
And has become my personal enemy

If you really care who I am
And what Im about,
Stop doing things maâ??am
That causes doubt

Were still in the beginning stages
Of what could grow to be potent
Or end in road rage
Because of lack of patience in our motion

I want to learn you before I play with your shrubberies
I want us to have a strong foundation
That allows us to be free
And have cushion
Saturated in love, truth, and purity

However,
Before we can look to the future
And endeavor
On what ring you get at the jeweler or whatever,
Know
That I refuse
To go
Any further
If we cant respect how each other feel
And pay attention the cursor
Which is time?
Lets not forget to keep our relationship open with God
Whose Love is real and divine.

So what Im trying to tell you
Is that Im not ready to be serious
Without taking time to know whoâ??s me and you
Remember going too fast makes me delirious

So if you really want to know the truth,
To see us as a couple
Is something Im not ready to do.
