Who shoot the muffin man?

by J.C.   Mar 9, 2006

Who shot the muffin man?
It was me mista.
I may not have had a gun in my hand,
But surely I pulled the trigga.

Was not it I who rejected him when he asked me for food?
And didn\'t I call him names to make myself feel betta about being in a bad mood.

Isn\'t it him I rejected because he had AIDS?
And when I saw him suffering,
I kicked him out his home and took away his shade?

Wasn\'t it I who sold him drugs for my love of money?
Didn\'t I allow him to prostitute his kids when he didn\'t have enough to pay for what he considered honey?

And isn\'t it I who refused to give him surgery?
Since he was broke without insurance though it was an emergency?

Who said that you\'re secured because you have insurance?
But when your grandma died, I refused to give you more than 10 cents for her burial and its congruence?

So I say again,
Who shot the muffin man?
It was me mista.
I may not have had the gun in my hand
But surely, I pulled the trigga.
