The Story of a Rose

I was born , with a million others in red.
Soon flew away , no one to hear what I said.
But then she came by, and picked me up.
Gave me a life ,decorated in a beautiful cup.
She saw me everyday , so did I .
Finally ,I found someone two shut my eyes.
I was her fragrance and I felt her mine.
I found myself in a world that was divine.
But soon I was replaced by a white one.
He meant the world, suddenly I meant none.
He was to blossom and I was to dry.
I had no tears, but my soul did cry.
I had loneliness, I had despair
I were an enigma, but was all this fair?
Was I just a decoration? Was I just another flower?
I had a dream, yet it was so far.
Suns passed by and moons lit up bright.
I too gave up, but not without a fight

I had a true colour, love was what I meant,
My time was almost through, then an angel was sent.
She felt different, her hands made me brave.
She could smell my dead fragrance, she took me to my grave
I had lost my worth in someone else's hand,
Though she came late, no more was I sand.
I was now kept within a book, dedicated to her love.
No more was I counted by penny, but by an angel from above.
This life was quiet ,it was a rebirth.
I couldn't live for it but I died for my worth.
Now I rest in peace, with a soul to hear what I say,
I have found a bed to rest, till eternity there I'll lay.
