As i lay in silence,
my soul is screaming,
i don't know how i'll live without you.
your picture stares at me from my bedstand,
your voice is fading from me,
its like you weren't even living.
the memories i have of you are only portrayed in my dreams and tears.
as i cry myself to sleep,
i wonder if you'll ever come back,
And hold me in your arms and hum soothing songs like you used to.
i try to continue with my life,
trying to push you to the back of my mind.
then you jump infront of my eyes and taunt me,
i chase you,
i swear i do.
but you fade away when i get close,
you leave me to my pain and misery.
