Time Takes Away

Time cannot hold everything for you,

It can supply memories and nightmares.

Give hopes and dreams.

And crush them with a tidal wave of emotion.

Just with a tick of a clock,

Everything can be taken away by a gust of wind,

Then drift off into the sea of despair.

Longing,

Compassion,

Hatred,

And guilt.

Time controls, creates and demolishes.

Close friendships fade,

Another bonds and sticks.

Time takes too much away,

Then doesn't give enough back.
