Breaking

by Ms Joanna Dark   Apr 5, 2006

I'm in so much pain,
And you don't know.
Even though I told you,
And put it on show.

My arms are breaking,
From holding the weight.
Of the broken world,
I'm starting to hate.

Old scars are bleeding,
And staining my skin.
I'm fighting a war,
That's impossible to win.

I'm running low on ammo,
And my shield is getting weak.
My mask breaks away,
As the tears hit my cheeks.

I can't take this life anymore,
It's all too much for me.
I'm trapped in this glass box,
Now I'm setting myself free.
