I have everything, yet I have nothing

by GothicRaven   Apr 5, 2006

My father is wealthy, yes indeed, he provides me with everything, hot clothes, cool cars, and every other golden wing. Everyone says they wish they were me, They say I get everything, but what good is money when you don't have a family? I have everything, yet I have nothing. Your life is like a fairy tale, people say to me, that I live in a world of fantasy, But I'm not filled with glee. My father was abusive, a wicked beast is you say, my mother goes into a world of pills and vodka, and she's there to stay, My step father bickers and whines, over every little thing, Most people say I live like an angel in heaven, with broken tattered wings, I have everything, yet I have nothing. All the money in the world has no value, for it can't buy joy, Most people think I'm happy, But I'm a sad boy. I have everything, yet I have nothing.

Wow this really moved me. its written very well and you can completely feel your pain. the only thing i would suggest is to spilt the paragraph into lines. but it is fantastic the way it is.
