You deserve every scar.

by Beautifully Grotesque   Apr 6, 2006

Another bad day as you sit alone in your room staring at the blade.
That little voice is saying,
"Come on, pick it up. You know you want to."
You take it and place it against your scarred flesh where its left its mark so many times before.
Dragging it slowly across your skin as it cries in agony with crimson tears.
"Cut deeper, you deserve it." the little voice says.
So you do.
"Just a couple more wont hurt."
You slice a couple more.
Tears start to fall down your face, realizing what you've done.
How could you do it again?
You're so pathetic...
You push those tears back and cut harder and faster knowing it will shut that little voice up.
The more blood that flows, the faster your heart beats in your ears.
Now that you're exhausted and your hand is covered in blood, you drop the blade.
But everything is okay now..
..because you deserved it.
