Unknown

Fighting the world alone
Wondering if you're sane
Like salt to the wound
Its never ending pain
Misunderstood adolescent
Searching for the truth
All the right questions
But hampered by youth
Tears for nights comfort
With walls for friends
Do they speak in silence
While the sting transcends
Does happiness have a value
In which you cannot afford
Shed a smile tender heart
Its magnificence will be adored
Pay no attention to them
They judge what they desire
You must spread your wings
To reach the stars and higher
For the superficially blind
They see no deeper than skin
But if they knew the truth
They'd envy the beauty within
