Your Rose

by Colby   Apr 7, 2006

I bought you a rose
On a rainy night
I was dressed up
I wanted to impress you
When I saw your eyes
I hid your rose
I put it in my sleeve
I watched you all day
But didn't make a move
I couldn't say a word
My vision was blurred
I remembered your rose
I came up to you
Stop
I turned away
I can't talk to you
Finally the day grew old
And I approached
The talk was casual
Adrenalin burned my veins
I wanted to kiss you
I wanted to love you
I wanted to be loved
But I hid your rose
you turned away
And went to your home
And I was left with a rose
A withered rose
