I prayed

I prayed last night,
for the first time in a while.
I prayed that this would end,
that the suffering, the agony, the pain,
would be no more for us.
i asked god to give u the strength,
to fight for whats right, to follow whats in your heart.
i know you love me, why can't they accept it?
why does it matter what they think?
ill be here for you, i wont do wrong by you.
Ive given myself to you,
my heart, my soul and my body.
i have your love, give me your trust.
believe in me, i wont let us fail,
wed be happy, you wouldn't hurt anymore,
i wont have to go to sleep in pain.
all this i asked for,
last night when i prayed for you.
