Holiday romance

by natalie   Apr 7, 2006

He saw me deep in thought
with the sun on my back
as i was trying to relax.
He sat down beside me
and whispered ever so slightly,
'Do you want to get out of here?'
He knocked me off my feet
with his words ever so sweet.
He placed a beautiful shell
by my side and a
yellow flower in my hair,
staring into my eyes he smiled,
it lasted for a while.
He swept me off my feet.
As my heart skipped a beat
my knees went weak.
We walked on the beach
watching the sun go down.
I wished that it would last forever
but all good things most come
to an end.....
We lay down on sun-beds
left behind all night.
The next morning we had
to say goodbye,
trying my hardest not to cry.
He placed the shell in my hand
and this summer holiday romance
ended with these words he said,
'Everytime you look at the moon, remember me, remember how this
was and remember how some day
it will be.'

*This actually happened to me a year ago, on my holiday to Paphos in Cyprus...it was amazing!*
