My Memory of Dad

by Susan   Apr 7, 2006

In Loving Memory Of
Albert C. Pierce (Buck)
Who passed away 1 year ago today, you are sadly missed by your daughter, sisters,
grandchildren, and friends.

Daddy I know you wanted me to go fishing today.
To remember you in our own special way.
Well, guess what it rained.
You said, I'd see you sitting in the boat.
Will, if you are your getting soaked.
So while I'm in here dry and bored.
I hope you get that fish aboard.
And while your bragging and carrying on.
I'll be drinking your coffee, and keeping warm.
I'll be remembering our fishing trips.
With cheese bait, donuts, and potato chips.
Hearing you cuss, cause you broke your line.
And changing your lures a hundred times.
So if your out there, rather in boat or on land.
From your daughter, and grandson's .
Its only borrowed ole man.
And while your out there, not getting a bite.
I'll be sitting at home, thinking ,Dad your alright.
So Dad while your out there in the boat.
Row over to that tree, and pickup my float.
And when the day ends, and your ready to quit.
We'll be remembering ,how your so full of shit.
With all of your stories, and tall fish tells.
From hunting, to fishing and how to cook quail.
Will be remembering all the good times we had.
Just like you wanted, now thats not to bad.
Your loving family,
We miss you terribly,
