Perfect Silence

by Simon Hayes   Apr 8, 2006

Allow me to gaze in your direction,
Discover your wonderful face.
Stare into your eyes of utmost perfection,
Causing my heart to race.

Hold my hand and sit with me,
Don't say a single word.
Seize this perfect opportunity,
While nothing can be heard.

Your eyes and heart are speaking
In the perfect silence of this room.
Forever they are seeking,
For love to finally bloom.

First off you used one of my faveorite words! "the" haha jk "utmost" I love that word!

Secondly, Sie your poems are so amazing and it makes me want to give you a hug because your such a sweet man. *cyber hugs Simon*...What a lucky lady your wife is to have found you...do you show her poems you write? Gawsh I would be the luckiest woman on Earth if I found a husband who likes to write poetry! I would be the biggest baby on Earth because I'm sure I'd cry Rivers! Wonderful job as per usual Simon!

    Simon,

This is such a lovely piece about people in love and it is so true, sometimes you don't need to say anything at all. Just sit and hold each other and a simple smile, the rest is said from the heart.

    Best regards,

    Steve

I love the style of your writing, it shows you care a lot about your words and how you express them...it reminds me of myself.
