My Mercy

by Silverbrant   Apr 8, 2006

I hear glasses breaking downstairs
They shout again
I wish I'd never said anything
I could have gone on forever
I could have worn a smile
Dressed myself in happiness
But now I want out
I told the truth
Look where it got me
I hear stories about others
But its not the same
Its never the same
I went to hide in heaven
And landed down in hell
I sit now in my throne
Its made of plastic and steel
I see the white
Theres nothing I can do
The voices fade
The music dies
My carpet changes
To a scarlet bath
I'll be happy
They'll be happy
Tell them its not there fault
It was meant to be
But I can't
I'm sorry
I ruined my life
I ruined their life
The shouting stops
The pain ceases
My fingers slow
As the bloods flow
I'll pay for the carpet
My throne is crimson
My throne is
My mercy chairDon't tell me
that its not worth dying for
It is
It was
It will be
