Natures Gifts

Natures Gifts
---------------------------------------------

As I sit here and watch the trees
Disappear within the darkness
The sky, the moon, the stars, the breeze
This wonderful gift of nature
The birds chirp flying overhead
While the lake laps in and out
The breeze gives me the gift of calmness
Still, I wonder why I pout
The overuse of cutting trees
The sinking of the stream
The pollution smells within the air
I wish it was a dream
I wish that I could help it out
This cruelty of man
I realize what we should do
Enjoy it while we can
