Would I Have Had A Life?

What if i had not been born,
Or if my stature had been torn
If I had never had to mourn,
Would I have had a life?

if I had never had to cry,
or never had to say good-bye,
When someone close had to die
Would I have had a life?

Or what if I had not a friend,
Or never loved a guy to mend,
The sorrow right around the bend,
Would I have had a life?

If I had maybe learned to care,
Or even learned that the truth was fair,
If I had cared my life was bare,
I might have had a life.
