Silenced petals

by Bonnie Rose   Apr 9, 2006

Just waiting for my petal to fall,
land in the palm of your hands
that day is a thousand breaths away,
I'm already standing on my last, it was always inevitable
that you would slip my grasp,
expired senses of a life time past
waisted on your delicate cause
clinging on every little hope
that was magnified threw my eyes
wearing it right down to the bone
I've exhausted myself on you
Just feeding myself with deceit
you crumbled under the feelings i gave
Leaving a wreckage of you
and a rose decayed
let me breath you in, and stain my lungs
with unwanted memories
now there is no trust
you brung this on yourself
As i stand defeated with bleeding ears overhearing your call
I wont deny the ammunition was always on display,
but now you've just pulled the trigger
for this love to leak into hate
I'll take back the words that were destined for you
replacing them with silence
a smothering betrayal by your vindictive needs
soulless actions leave us torn asunder
our love is no more, but temptation steals the best of me
running threw my veins at the mention of your name
missing the soft touch of your skin
sweet caress of tainted lips
as you creep into my mind at the slightest reminder
you left an imprint that will never fade
i gave you my soul but you bleed desire
never keeping up your vitae
you pushed the boundaries to a crucial strain
no collection of words you string together
will ever buy my forgiveness.

Very Moving. I can almost feel your pright. Remember, anything you say or do can never be considered wrong or right. Your thoughts are you own, for which no one can steal, keep on writing what you feel... Great Job
