The Silent Streets

by The Fallen Angel (David Strife)   Apr 9, 2006

Over the town, a silence as heavy as stone
a cat crossing the street, a bum falling to sleep
silence, being broken by a scream, in the dark night
everyone hears it
no one cares
she is dying, no one saw it
blood dripping from his gloves
cleaning his knife against the dead womans cloth
the pool of blood on the street
the ravens sitting in the trees
the man, cutting of every finger
drinking her moistly blood
putting her in his arms
kissing her bloody lips
driving his fingers through her hair
hearing the sirens
he flees, leaving the woman behind
running, from what he has done
hiding where they wont look
seeing back wards, knowing they are there
he runs, he cant go back
he escapes
