The Mirror

I look in the mirror,
and what do I see?
Who is that girl?
Is that me?

Would that girl be honest?
Yes, I think she would.
Would she ever lie?
Well...I guess she could.

I think she would be faithful,
don't you think so?
She looks very nice,
don't you see her glow?

When you look in the mirror,
you don't see what other people see.
When you talk,
you don't hear what they hear.

That's why i wonder,
when i look in the mirror,
Do I see me as me?
Or as i think that it should be?

When I look in that mirror,
and think gosh, am I ugly!
Is that what they see?
Or do they think I'm pretty?

When i look in the mirror,
and think I look good today.
Does the world not think so?
If not what do they say?

I guess it's all in the mirror,
you see what you want to see.
If you want to look pretty,
all you have to do is believe.
