Bridges

by Michael   Apr 9, 2006

Bridges are unique in their purpose and design,
Connecting two hands for the very first time.

Built of cold steel and cable sometimes,
Providing a connection that spans over time.

Bridges when crossed provide a link to our past,
Many times taken and sometimes lost.

Forged on strong pillars and piles that last,
Built to withstand the storms of the past.

Bridges are unique in their purpose and design,
Connecting two souls for an eternity in time.
