What should I do?

My heart is twisted and confused,
oh God, what should I do?

This pain that I feel is new,
I really need to know, what did I do?

I know I broke a lot of hearts,
it always ends before it starts.

I really don't mean to,
I thought it was what I was supposed to do.

I was wrong but now I confess,
but still I did it none the less.

I can't take back what i do,
but from now on I'll try to be true.

Forgive me father, I did sin,
but I'll try not to do it ever again.
