Vampress

by Meagan   Apr 9, 2006

Hear them laugh
watch them smile
fake that lie
for itll all be over
in just a while

keep them clueless
watch them die
see their souls escape
remember you wont cry

Deadly kisses
through the dark
Drink the blood
leave your mark

Walk with the shadows
dont let them see
the angel that has fallen
and the creature she has turned to be

rejected by all
rememberd by none
for their time to die
is soon to come

Look at the mirror
the beauty is not there
walk out into the night
they cant help but stare

Humans dont know
angels turn away
hell doesnt want you
heaven has nothing to say

killing every single night
not really giving a care
these feelings inside
you cant really share

Staying young
as others grow old
this is your sin
for all the souls you have sold

you are a vampress
not an angel
your life is mixed up
something that cant be un tangled

you sold your soul
your all alone
you cant feel your heart beat
for it is made of stone

this is your life
this is your story
you have chosen this path
that made your life so blurry

This is a good poem. I noticed a few simularities and differences between this and my poem 'The Vampire's Curse'. It was nice to read a poem coming from the same angle and see the different and same things said. I think your poem has a more emtional feeling, where as mine has a more factual one. What do you think? I just gathered my infomation on vampires from various films, tv programmes, etc. Are you a vampire enthusiast or did you just feel like writing a poem about vampires?

P.S, Thank you from commenting on my poem.
