Lost &..... Confused!!!!

What do you do when you are lost and confused.
He is your first love.... you saw him with this girl and than you talk and he is still in love with you and your still in love with him.
Both of you guys are confused because the girl that he is with and she is obsessive and you want to be single but than you don't.
You guys want to get back together but you both are lost and confused.
How do you get him back in your life even though he wants to be with you but it is his lady?
Should i give it time.... should i just give up even though i don't want to..... should i keep talking to him and tell him all of my feelings that have never came out of my mouth or should i just stay.......
LOST &..... CONFUSED?????
