The end

When you said
we needed to talk
i knew it was the end
as we met at the park
you couldn't look at me
because i knew you could see
the pain in my eyes
you heard my cry of anguish
when you said the final words
my tears of despair
as you walked away
why didn't you care?
you heard me calling out to you
why'd you turn away?
i thought we were fine
i didn't understand why
you didn't want to be together
until i realized
I wasn't meant for you
but the real truth is
i wasn't meant for anyone.
