On the outside,
there's a smiling face,
On the inside,
there's a tear,
Trying desperately to laugh and hide my silent fear.

there's a happy girl,

Its not right,
Waiting for somone to come along and kiss my fears goodnight.

there's a joke being told,
On the inside,
there's my pain,
Staring out the window, now, and wishing it would rain.

there's a yell of joy,
