Memory

Memory invades the minds of the innocent,
Gently looking back, taking away reality,
Sifting through forgotten thoughts,
Telling each secret one by one,
Trying to fade, to be forgotten again,
Pulling tears from the eyes, stealing sanity from the mind,
Caressing the forgotten face of yesterday,
Memory then subsides...
