Laughter

by black days   Apr 11, 2006

Her laughter peirced the air.
Everyone's head had turn to stare.
She laughed at the girl with great pleasure,
Something that other people couldn't even measure.

But little did everyone know,
That her own laughter was her greatest foe.
It made her mad;
That stupid laugh that she had.

She thought no one would figure out her lie,
Something that laid deep inside her eyes.
But someone did see,
Who she could really be.

He watched her from far away,
Wished that there was something he could say..
That would make her show what's inside,
Instead of always being confined.

Although he had never seen,
She was never really that mean.
And she locked herself away..
Because she thought he never looked her way..
