She isn't happy

by Rebecca CArnahan   Apr 11, 2006

AS I look at my big sister
I see the tears in her eyes
She isn't happy
And only I know why

Because no one understands
What lies behind her smile
She shouldn't have to go
Not even for a little while

She shouldn't have to leave
All she's ever known
Even if she's married
The choice is her own.

This new home is states away
Besides for her husband, she knows no one there
I don't think she should go
And leave the little sister that cares

But if she does go
I'll try to hold back the tears
Because I'll always support her.
Throughout all the years.
