Judgment

by nicole   Apr 11, 2006

As I walk through this lonely town,
Tears streaming down,
People all around,
& yet none of them hear my cries?

Snow flakes fall,
Music plays,
People sway,
& yet none of them hear my cries?

I wish People would ask me if I\'m OK.
I look tear stained but they go on they\'re way,
You pass me by almost every day
But none of you hear my cries

I\'m so alone
With no place to go to
No place to call home
But none of you stop & care
None of you hear my cries.

Spring flowers blossom,
To me a vain curse,
Love & happiness I know not,
Only the path pain hath wrought,
Yet none of you hear my cries

Wonder & majesty escape my glance,
Blurry eyes watch as hopes
first dance is brutally brushed away,
out of my gaze,
yet none of you hear my cries!?

Has life at long last lost its zeal?
To the human race, its vast appeal?
To me it did so long ago,
To me it all was a vain show,
But none of you heard my cries

No matter how long summer drags,
No matter how many oceans waves,
I watch list-fully hit the shore,
My life I wish to live no more
But all of you are oh so sure Ill be fine even if you care no more,
& none of you hear my cries

Lots of you romp about & play,
You\'re little pathetic game
engulfs your day,
Of drama & hardship you inflict,
Many others you enslave,
Within your own dreaded edict,
Only your own happiness you crave,
None of you hear my cries

Fall fast approaches,
You sit inside, almost a whole year now
Yet still you don\'t hear my cries
I am around you everyday,
Watching you through stinging eyes
Fast fading away are my cries

I acted normal to your face
I was another normal species of the human race
You a Christian despised!
You looked at me through prejudiced eyes!
Once again you ignore my cries

As I sit here, screaming for help, I bleed & die
You listen but you ignore my cries
All I want is love,
Someone to sympathize
But no mercy do you have,
You ignore the sound of my demise
Unlike the God you say you follow,
He watched as even the tiniest swallow,
Fell to the ground & passed away,
Not one is exempt from my Fathers gaze.
Yet none of you hear my cries?...

Yet you go to church, you follow His ways
Yet you\'ll sit by & watch my days fade away
& none of you will heed my cries
The death grip I am possessed by,
Its called hatred; its what I see in your eyes
No longer shall you endure my cries

If you can call it a life I lived,
Do so if you wish,
I hated my life, now Ive gone away,
To a place I thought had to be better for sure!

I have finally escaped your condemning gaze
I must endure it not a day more,
I got away, I died alone,
With not a single friend in the world,
