Judgment part 2

by nicole   Apr 11, 2006

I thought anything would be better than life
But now if I could take my thought back oh I would for sure!
How could a person who say they\'rea Christian
& they love Christ
Love in their countenance lack?

When the God they say
They served was made of that glorious stuff,
I suppose through they\'rreives,
The ray of love they closed up?...

See I was always told God was good,
& His people were close behind,
I know no human is perfect,
But with the help of God your
supposed to be able to find:

Love, joy, peace & hope,
Everlasting I think is what they say?
But you people who are Christian
Never treated me that way?

So how was I supposed to know?
Why was I supposed to want?
What all of you so pompously showed?
What you so haughtily were always ready to flaunt?

Who is this person that feels this way?
Why would they be so harsh?
Its the people you see everyday,
The one you felt love for so scarce & hatred so much.

They are around you,
Every day,
Wondering why or why you aren\'t tat you say?
Wondering why on this God you love
You would put a bad rep easily & right away?

Wondering why,
If you love Him so much.
On the week day
You would put Him on a shelf?

How you could be a Christian on Sunday,
But on Monday you were cruelly mean,
Why on a Tuesday you would cuss,
But at youth group,
On Wednesday night you would be Serene?

Why you were a Christian part of the time,
but at school you looked down on them too?
Why you would be nice if they wanted advice,
But you were superior if they tried talking to you?

So once again they fade & blend in,
Not because they\'re reing or average
but because you don\'t care

I think its time you start looking,
at what YOU are doing,
& start seeing if maybe theres merit there?

Maybe your being like everybody else on weekdays,
But only when your in the mood are ready to pray?
Maybe your being a hypocrite,
Maybe you\'re gore the right way?

I am not here to judge,
NONE of us are,
Thats Gods job only,
So when you think your right
& they\'re wrong & a sinner,
Remember you are to,
Jesus died on the cross for all of us,
Not just you & me.

Be careful where it is you lay blame,
Be cautious,
& with much care,
That you\'re not rer looking
A shadow in the background,
When really its a person there.

Maybe one day you will hear my cries?
I hope one day you\'ll care,
Because if you give me this example of a Christian
How many else in hell have you sent there?
