Darkened Path

by Amie   Apr 11, 2006

Skipping skipping,
down the path.
Darkened is the distance,
that she has searched for.
Wide, glittering eyes,
merge into the black wall.
No seams, or doors,
just soffocating fear.
She collapses to her knees,
to crawl herself further.
She grows from the air,
who seeks too weaken her,
Getup, get up,
rings her ears.
Lifting herself,
she walks ahead.
Through the darkness,
and into the sun.
