Portrait

by Wings Of Flames   Apr 12, 2006

Strokes brush her skin,
Purple blooms from fair,
Her face another canvas,
Her eyes a fearful stare,

Hands cupped to her cheeks,
Pale with intense fear,
A love, a life lost forever,
Vanished to the clear,

Smoke inbeds her chest,
Flames eat away her neck,
Portrayed perfection,
Until a disgraceful trek,

Her clothes ripped from her frame,
Her lips arched to a scream,
Pierced the aching silence,
Nightmare unto a dream,

Forgotten through the mist,
Her perfection just a haze,
As her tears break,
Complete obscene glaze.
