Walk Away

by Wings Of Flames   Sep 10, 2009

Walk Away

The promise in your heart,
This ache from within.
I hope you keep your lips intwined.
With your deathly hollow cage.

This madness drives me,
To the brink of murder.
I want to see your face crushed,
Beneath my concave boot.

The tears peel down my face.
Hollow, concave, void.
You know nothing of the petals lost,
In this unforgiving fog.

The broken ashes whisper:

'Alone with their heart,
Broken in two,
Alone with their heart,
Alone with you.'

Why can't you pity me?
Let me lie down in the cold.
I long to weep an eternal sorrow,
For the lost friend and new found foe.

You have let my heart sink,
The depths of hell burn thick.
But your words sting more then any naked flame,
And harder then any crystal.

Colder then any shard of ice.
Splinters catch my skin.
I'm hung.
And you.

Well You've finally won.
