The Unknown

by shezza   Apr 12, 2006

It doesn't really matter,
If your black or if your white.
Cause once in their lives,
Everybody has to face this fight.

Your dreams can be big,
If not, they can be small.
But in the end we want our lives,
To be perfect and nothing more.

But what if for a second,
Somebody lent a hand.
Not to destroy someone,
But to help a fellow living man.

What if someone actually cared,
For someone who can't be there.
They can't be there, in the spot light,
Simply because they're too scared.

And what if you were poor?
And you couldn't save their life?
No not your own,
Your family, your kids, your wife.

We all feel for one-another,
Even though others cannot show it.
But when you get the chance to help another,
Please, oh please don't blow it.

There is another race,
Of which you would not know.
And the pain and torture they feel each day,
Is a thing you don't want to know.

So what? is what you think,
But these people need our help.
Because no matter how hard one try's,
It's too hard to fix it by ourselves.

The Unknown race is living,
Even though we never see.
They are living a life of pain,
And a life of agony.

So just take a minute,
a second of your day.
Just find sometime during your week,
To be able to say.

"Do not worry, do not cry,
Your world will soon be safe."
And no one will have to belong to,
The lonely Unknown race.
