Guardian Angle

by Bubble Boy   Apr 12, 2006

Into the darkness,
out of the light.
Hide my torn soul,
filled with such fright.

Push you away,
only to pull you back.
Start to smile,
to hide all I lack.

My head filled with lies,
placed there by my fears.
In silence I lay,
as I shed crimson tears.

I am looked down upon,
as just another freak.
I hold you tightly,
though I am weak.

You see me for who I am,
not for what I lack.
You are there for me,
when they stab my back.

You are there when I need you,
you will be here till the end.
You listen to my every word,
unlike my so called friends.

I tell you all my problems,
you examine them from all angles.
You saved me from myself,
you are my guardian angel.
