A Tear

by midmid   Apr 12, 2006

A tear escaped my eye and touched the ground
Clear was its echo and real was the sound
Of its whisper that had my soul enslaved
Words that my ear to hear had always craved
It said \"Though distance is a cruel thief,
Time will find your jewel and end your grief,
Put in your arms that which lives in your dreams
The jewel that lights the earth with glorious beams
No longer shall sadness find a place
After seeing her smile, her angel face
Have patience for you and she are one
You share the same heart, the same moon and sun\"
My tear had said enough, don\'t cry my love
You\\\'re my jewel, my shining star above.
